European Regulation is a highly specialised discipline that allows forthcoming lawyers to familiarise themselves with the rules, directives and treaties established by a Europe-wide policy-making human body that all EU-member countries must abide by. This type of research is more prevalent at postgraduate level (Master’s), and is often found within the umbrella of an LL. M course.
This is a specialized and exciting option for those who want to combine a strenuous legal education with a 365 days abroad, expanding your horizons and making you more employable. You’ll follow the same training as those on the regular HANDBAG Law system for your primary two years, just before completing a year at Universite Pantheon-Assas in Paris. This year is assessed on a pass/fail basis, and the degree is awarded after you have passed Oxford’s final exams.

ELSA is a completely independent, non-political, non-profit making organization that was founded by five law pupils from Luxembourg, Hungary, Especially and West Germany in 1981.
